Everyday care

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Wipe spills straight away with a dry cloth and dry the surface. Do not let water stand on the wood.
• To remove marks, use a well-wrung cloth with a little mild soap, then wipe dry.
• Avoid bleach, ammonia, thinner and alcohol-based sprays. They damage the polish.
• Use coasters, mats and trivets under hot, cold or wet items.

Where to place it

• Keep furniture away from damp walls, direct sunlight, heaters and air-conditioner vents.
• Leave a small gap between the furniture and the wall so air can move.
• On an uneven floor, use the levellers so the piece stands steady.

Regular upkeep

• Tighten bolts, screws and hinges every 6 months.
• Re-polish with a good-quality wood polish or wax every 4 to 6 months.
• Lift furniture when you move it. Never drag it across the floor.
• Do not overload shelves, drawers or storage boxes beyond normal household use.

Cushions, fabric and glass

• Vacuum fabric on low suction with a soft brush and spot-clean marks with a damp cloth. Do not soak or machine-wash cushions.
• Turn and fluff cushions regularly so they wear evenly.
• Clean glass tops and mirrors with a soft cloth and glass cleaner. Do not place very hot or heavy items directly on glass.

Delivery

• Free delivery to every serviceable PIN code in India. Enter your PIN code above to check delivery to your address.
• Orders are processed within 1 to 2 working days of confirmation. Products in stock are usually dispatched within 2 to 3 working days; made-to-order products take longer.
• Delivery is usually completed within 10 to 15 working days of order confirmation. Remote locations, festivals and busy periods can take longer, and we will tell you if your order is delayed.
• We share tracking details by WhatsApp, SMS or email once your order is dispatched.
• Our delivery partner calls you before delivery. An adult must be present to receive the order.
• Check the outer packaging before you sign. If it is visibly damaged, note it on the delivery receipt and take photos. We also recommend recording an unboxing video.

Installation

Each product's installation type is shown as Delivery Condition in the Specifications tab.

• Expert Assembly: our technician assembles the product at your home, free of charge, within 3 to 4 working days of delivery. Please do not unpack or assemble it yourself before the visit.
• Pre-assembled: delivered ready to use. No installation is needed.
• Easy Self-Assembly: fit a few simple parts using the hardware and instructions in the box. Our team can guide you by phone or video call.
• Installation does not include wall mounting or drilling, electrical, plumbing or civil work, or moving and disposing of old furniture.

Before you order

• Measure the entrance door, corridors, staircase and lift, and compare them with the product dimensions in the Specifications tab.
• Furniture is not hoisted over balconies or through windows. A product that cannot be taken inside because of space limits is not a defect.
• If your building has entry timings or society rules, tell us before dispatch so we can plan the delivery.

Every Sona Arts product bought on sonaarts.in or directly from Sona Arts carries a 36-month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing and workmanship defects, for use under normal household conditions. It applies to every product we sell, whether a bed, sofa, dining set or storage unit.

What is covered

• Cracks or breakage in the wooden frame caused by a manufacturing fault.
• Joints that loosen, open or separate because of faulty joinery.
• Doors, drawers or shelves that do not fit or align because of the way they were made.
• Hinges, drawer channels, locks and storage lifts supplied by us that stop working under normal use.
• The wooden frame and mechanisms of sofas, sofa cum beds and upholstered beds.
• Termite and borer attack on the solid wood: we treat the product or replace the affected part free of cost for as long as it is in use (not where the infestation comes from walls, floors or other furniture).

What is not covered

• Normal wear and tear from everyday use.
• Scratches, dents, chips or breakage caused by accidents, impact, pets or sharp objects.
• Damage from water, damp walls, high humidity, direct sunlight, heaters or air-conditioner vents, or from harsh cleaning products.
• Upholstery fabric, cushions and foam, including wear, fading, sagging or pilling.
• Glass and mirrors broken after delivery.
• Damage from assembly, repair, alteration or relocation by anyone other than Sona Arts, or from overloading or misuse.
• Natural characteristics of solid wood: grain, knots, shade variation, slight seasonal movement and fine joint lines.
• Slight rocking on an uneven floor of up to 5 mm, which levellers correct.
• Transit damage, wrong products and missing parts. Report these within 3 days of delivery under our Return & Refund Policy.

How to claim

• WhatsApp or call +91 86967 81137 (10 AM to 7 PM, all 7 days), or email support@sonaarts.in with the subject "Warranty Claim" and your order number.
• Share your order number, a short description of the issue and clear photos or a video.
• We respond within 2 working days. Covered defects are repaired at your home, or the part or product is replaced, free of cost.
• Products bought on Amazon, Flipkart or other marketplaces carry the warranty shown on that listing.

Report an issue within 3 days

• Transit damage, a manufacturing defect, a wrong product or a missing part must be reported within 3 days of delivery. For Expert Assembly products, the 3 days count from installation.
• Send your order number, a short description, clear photos of the product and the issue, and the unboxing video if you have one.
• Missing parts and hardware are sent to you free of cost.

Returns

• A return can be requested within 7 days of delivery (from installation for Expert Assembly products), for damaged, defective, wrong or incomplete products only.
• Depending on the issue, we repair the product, replace the part or product, or collect it and refund you. Reverse pickup is free.
• Returns are not accepted for a change of mind, the natural look of solid wood, size variation within 1 inch, a product that does not fit through your entrance, damage after delivery, or customised products (unless they arrive damaged or defective).

Cancellation

• You can cancel within 24 hours of order confirmation or before dispatch, whichever is earlier, by WhatsApp or email with your order number.

Refunds

• Refunds are started within 2 working days of the cancellation being confirmed, or of the returned product being collected and checked. Banks usually take 5 to 7 working days to credit the amount.
• Refunds go to the original payment method.
• A 2.5% payment gateway processing fee is deducted from refunds. There is no deduction if Sona Arts cancels the order, or for a duplicate or failed payment.
• If delivery is refused without a valid reason, forward and return freight and the 2.5% fee are deducted.
